Your journey begins the night before in Cairo, traveling overnight to Siwa. When you arrive in the morning, our team will welcome you at the bus station and take you directly into your full day of exploration.

From ancient historical sites and the legendary Salt Lakes to Cleopatra Spring, Fatnas Island, sandboarding, Bedouin tea, and a magical sunset in the Sahara Desert, this experience allows you to discover the heart of Siwa in just one unforgettable day.

Everything is organized for you from beginning to end — round-trip transportation, internal transportation, meals, entrance tickets, activities, and a professional English-speaking local guide.

There is no accommodation, as you will return to Cairo the same evening.

Night Before — Departure from Cairo

Your Siwa adventure begins in Cairo in the evening.

We will arrange your round-trip transportation tickets and send you the exact departure location and all the necessary travel details.

Depending on availability, there are two transportation options:

• Minibus: approximately 8–9 hours

• Big bus: approximately 12–13 hours

Departure from Cairo is usually around 10:30 PM or 11:00 PM.

Relax and enjoy the overnight journey as you travel from Cairo toward the beautiful Siwa Oasis.

Day 1 — Full-Day Siwa Oasis Adventure

Arrival in Siwa

As soon as you arrive in Siwa in the morning, our team will be waiting to welcome you at the bus station.

From there, we will take you to a local restaurant where you can enjoy a traditional Siwan breakfast, refresh yourself, and take some time to relax after the overnight journey.

Then your adventure officially begins.

Siwa History & Culture

Your first experience will be a journey through the fascinating history and culture of Siwa Oasis with your professional English-speaking local guide.

You will visit four important historical sites:

Shali Fortress

Explore the ancient heart of Siwa and discover the fascinating ruins of the historic Shali Fortress, built with traditional Siwan materials and architecture.

Mountain of the Dead

Walk through this remarkable archaeological site and discover the ancient tombs while learning about the history of the people who lived in Siwa thousands of years ago.

Oracle Temple

Visit the legendary Temple of the Oracle, one of Siwa’s most famous historical landmarks, and learn about its connection to the ancient world and Alexander the Great.

After the Salt Lakes, we take you to the famous Cleopatra Spring.

After enjoying the spring, you will have lunch at Cleopatra Spring, giving you time to relax and recharge before continuing the adventure.

Fatnas Island

After lunch, we continue to Fatnas Island, one of the most beautiful and peaceful places in Siwa.

Although this trip may not allow enough time to stay for the full sunset here, we will still take you to this beautiful location so you can experience its scenery, relax for a while, and capture some memorable photographs.

Then we continue toward the Sahara.

Great Sand Sea — Desert Adventure

Now it’s time to leave the oasis behind and enter the magnificent Sahara Desert and the Great Sand Sea.

Get ready for an exciting desert experience surrounded by endless golden dunes.

Your desert adventure includes:

• Sandboarding across the golden dunes

• Exploring the beginning of the Great Sand Sea

Departure to Cairo

After completing your Siwa experience, we will take you back to the Siwa bus station.

Your return transportation to Cairo will already be arranged for you.
